Dev Connect 2019

Today I had opportunity to partipate in an workshop on Dev Connect 2019 organised by Google Developer Group Goa and Dev Cluster Goa at @91Springboard, the most happening place in Panaji Goa. The event was series of talks by expert in their own domain the first talk was delievered by Mr. Frederick Noronha on How Technology has changed the Industry and Society. Mr. Noronha narrated the journey of technology in Goa. He was followed by Mr. Jonathan Pereira defined the importance of hard work in his talk “No Pains No Gains”. He gave many examples on how young IITians established companies and made fortunes. His talk was truely inspiring. Ms. Shalaka Kulkarni, Women IoT and Hardware enterpreneur explained her journey in the business world. As a part of Dev Connect's Machine Learning(ML) training session, Google Certified Cloud facilitator Mr. Rudra Sawant, demostrated “Introduction to PyTorch”. PyTorch is just two year old, open-source machine learning library for Python, based on Torch, used for applications such as natural language processing. It is primarily developed by Facebook's artificial-intelligence research group, and Uber's "Pyro" Probabilistic programming language software is built on it. Mr. Sawant conducted this session as preparation for forthcoming event in the next month. The organisation was awesome and so was the food. The goodies of the DevFest were distributed too. Looking forward for more events by GDG Goa and Dev Cluster Goa.
